As we step into 2025, marking 15 remarkable years of the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design, I am thrilled to welcome you to a year of innovation, collaboration, and inspiration. Whether you are a long-standing member or partner, a returning supporter, or joining us to learn more, you are an essential part of our vibrant community committed to transforming healthcare environments.
This year as your President, I have defined a theme for us to drive forward, *Technology and Nursing Design*, that sets the stage for groundbreaking conversations and initiatives. We’ll explore how emerging technologies—from smart infrastructure to AI-assisted systems—are revolutionizing the way nurses and healthcare professionals shape spaces that promote healing and efficiency. Together, we will align cutting-edge advancements with the compassion and care that define our profession. We plan to work closely with our partners (Industry, Academic, and Professional) bringing them together in ways we’ve never done before.
Our 2025 programs will empower you with tools, insights, and connections. From webinars with industry leaders to our collaborative HCD workshop, NIHD will provide opportunities for you to engage deeply with this year’s theme. I encourage you to participate actively, whether through our Member Forum, committees, or by contributing your expertise as a speaker or writer.
